You are able to announce and explain different sights, special places and locations with this application in connection with the telematic system GPSauge. This tool could be used during a seight seeing tour and shares its own informations via sound output to the audience.
The application is modifiable for other purposes.
That app can be split in two parts:
1. Front-end, to let the user choose a route, start the navigation and to start the background procedure
2. Back-end for voice explanations about sight seeings close to the device (100 meters)
This development is a prototype for presentation purpose and therefore as a proof of concept and to complete the following tasks:
- All necessary informations are compiled into the binaries
- The application is unilingual
- Regression tests for accessing the IMPT interface are to perform (proof of functionality)
- The code should be easy to read for further development
- The prototype has to be reentrant (detection if backend is already running)
